Bush Reportedly to Veto "Hate Crime" Bill
According to this report, Bush is prepared to veto H.R. 1592, the "Hate Crime" bill. Good for him.
As I've stated before, while this is a noble cause, this bill is another fence post that will eventually imprison us if we are not vigilant.
Commenter TimC, used the "fence post" analogy in this thread at samizdat.net. The analogy describes the threats to our freedoms so well it should be a catch term used to describe these threats and the eventual of these threats if not stopped.
