Mason County High School in Maysville, KY is known as a basketball school although they turn out good teams and good athletes in many sports. MCHS has two Kentucky state championships in the past 10 years. In Kentucky there is only one state basketball champion. All schools compete against each other. When you win the state championship in Kentucky, you're THE state champion.

Here's a kid who'll be going to MCHS next year. Not only is it a heck of a shot, but the kid has one heck of an arm. Try throwing a basketball that distance without a big wind up. Not easy. The shot is at the 1:25 point in the video.
