What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am?

The AFSCME (American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO) has been running this radio commercial:

IT’S PRETTY SIMPLE.

WHILE DEMOCRATS PUSHED THROUGH A JOBS BILL THAT KEPT THE DOORS OPEN AT LOCAL SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS AND SENIOR CENTERS, REPUBLICANS VOTED TO LAY OFF HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF AMERICANS.

WHILE DEMOCRATS LOOKED OUT FOR US, PAYING FOR THIS BILL BY ELIMINATING CORPORATE LOOPHOLES, REPUBLICANS LOOKED OUT FOR CEOs WHO SHIPPED JOBS OVERSEAS.

IT’S A CLEAR CHOICE THIS NOVEMBER. EITHER WE OPEN DOORS TO A BETTER FUTURE, OR WE SLAM THE DOOR IN ITS FACE.

They're feeding us this bullshit when they have control of the House, Senate and Presidency, while unemployment is rampant, while poverty is increasing at record rates, while the Dems dish out money to cronies, while we're spending ourselves into debt our children won't be able to pay off and public employess living off our taxes live better than we do.

What kind of fool falls for this baloney? This song is dedicated to the AFSCME and the Democratic Party.

Comments:
To address your supposition that the Democratic Party has "control" of both houses and the executive branch of government ... one must acknowledge that the exercising of restraint and the effort to remain centrist in it policy-making and law advocating, the Democratic establishment has been magnanimous in its efforts NOT to alienate and roll over the opposition! Some gratitude! The party is proceeding cautiously so as NOT to peruse change via recklessness! How about a "Kudos" or simply a "thank you for not steam-rolling the Republicans?" Sure they "could" change everything overnight - in theory. But that would NOT be the RIGHT thing to do and they deserve credit for NOT doing what they COULD do. The president has been remarkable in his attempts at true bipartisanship and while proposing measures for positive change, taking into consideration ALL viewpoints and adjusting policy as a result. This quality is known as "contemplative-adjustment capacity."
The fact that you completely omit blame toward anything Bush did and/or the policies perpetuated and implemented during his tenure, speaks volumes about how ill/mis-informed you are. The economic fix is not an overnight one! The first two years of a presidency is not enough to turn around years of damages caused by deregulating industries and relaxing restrictions to just how much said industries could trample the public and profit from their unfair practices.
Ever question just "why" you think you are on the side of the businesses and political Party which advocates the continued growth and expanding reach of the already-wealthy at the expense of the middle and lower-class Americans? Are you one of these wealthy > .01 % ? If not, please examine your reasons to support them.

They have a super majority at the moment. Your twisted logic and circular reasoning is absurd. Talk to a doctor about an anti-psychotic medication for yourself.
