One Thing Is Clear
NYC Michael Bloomberg says
Bloomberg is an intelligent man. He chooses to play ignorant and point his finger in the direction of those who disagree with his political philosophy. For Bloomberg and his ilk oppposing their politics makes you a legitimate target for whatever kind of lies and trash they want to throw at you. Constitutional rights be damned.
The only winner for Bloomberg's game are those seeking power and control over others and use every and any opportunity to do so. Bloomberg tries to play the American public for fools. But, it's a fool's game if they see through his ruse.
Remember Aesop's fable of The Wolf and the Lamb, "Any excuse will serve a tyrant."
PS - As we all should now know, the "someone" fits none of Bloomberg's supposition but is an Islamic terrorist. That's too politically incorrect to say out loud though. Indeed, apparently it's too politically incorrect to actually do anything to stop an Islamic terrorist.

It could be anything.”It's tempting to call Bloomberg a fool or an idiot, but we all know he's not an idiot. Maybe he's a fool.

To be fair, the construction of the bomb suggested homegrown anti-government terrorism, as did the early images on the grainy surveilance tape.
There are reasons they thought the things that they did that have little to do with political narrative. Once they discovered who he was and where he was from, no one tried to hide it or diminish what it was.

It was anti-government terrorism, by the most active anti-U.S. government group in the world, the Taliban.
Nothing fair about it, Bloomberg and his ilk are seeking every opportunity to accuse persons of other views of being terrorists, racists, et. If Bloomberg wanted to be fair, he'd say he had no real idea. But, he's more interested in scoring political points and persecuting conservative/libertarians.
I question if he knew anything about the construction of the bomb at the time he made that statement.
