Is Obama A Communist?
Moonbat lefty wackos always get a charge out of claiming conservatives call anything they don't like "communist." I kinda like Obama although I won't vote for him, but this worries me.
Barack Obama won’t wear an American flag on his lapel, but on the wall of his Houston campaign office: a Cuban flag with a picture of Communist mass murderer Che Guevara.I realize many will say Obama can't oversee the wall hangings in all the campaign offices. But, if he can't control this sort of thing, how will he perform as president? Or, does he think flags of communist nations and images of Che Guevara are OK in his campaign offices? Will these items hang in the Oval Office if he is elected?

Well, since I don't wear a flag on my lapel either, I'm not picking nits over that little bit of fashion.
But the Che thing. Let's see how many Americans actually have an unbiased opinion on anything that has happened in South America in the last 50 years. Every event, every personality, and everything that goes on down there is far more metaphor and symbol for us than the reality of the situation.
On one side we have Monied-white-American-right-wing-establishment-supported-brutal-dictators and on the other side we have Soviet-and-American-left-wing-establishment-supported-brutal-revolutionaries. It has been like the world's worst telenovela where real people actually get killed because we love our favorite characters and hate their enemies far more than we engage in actual research and critical analysis of policy.
Che is one of the old school characters of this series, and you can't find a single character down there in the last 50 years without someone's blood on their hands. But that's what eventually happens to all of history's major actors: the mythos overstepps the reality.
