When Is An Illegal Immigrant an Illegal Immigrant
Instapundit pointed me to this post regarding bias in reporting at The Washington Post. An article with the headline "House Heats Up Over Bill to Give Illegal Immigrants In-State Tuition" never uses the phrase "illegal immigrants" in the article. Rather the article refers to illegal immigrants as "undocumented immigrants."
I've seen this play with words in numerous left wing articles, blogs, etc. Indeed, I'd hesitate to say I've ever found a liberal lefty who will call an illegal immigrant an illegal immigrant. "Undocumented workers," "undocumented immigrants," just "immigrants," "migrant workers", "seasonal workers" all come up in the lefts' attempts to ignore and deny the truth: a person whose first act is to enter this country illegally is an illegal immigrant.
Of course, this is why we have yet to reach or approach any reasonable solution to the problem. The left can't even admit to the truth or maybe they prefer clouding the issue so they can get cheap landscaping done for their houses.
